Learn to sail a Sunfish in one weekend at Catawba Yacht Club on beautiful Lake Wylie, Charlotte NC. No experience necessary. Ages 18 and above.

Learn to Sail Clinic:
October 2-4, 2026 — Friday 5:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, Sunday 1:00-4:00 PM
Learn to Race Clinic:
October 16-18, 2026 — Friday 5:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, Sunday 1:00-4:00 PM. Ages 18+. Completion of the Learn to Sail Clinic required.
Only 10 spots per clinic. Multiple experienced instructors. All equipment provided.

What You'll Learn — Learn to Race Clinic

Learn the techniques and components to assemble a sailboat for racing

Develop a strategy for setting up your starts

Learn to read the direction of the wind, identify shifts and headers, and pressure

Learn how to maneuver through a race course with advantage over the competitors

Experience multiple race exercises with coaches providing feedback
