Never sailed before? That's exactly who this clinic is designed for. Over one weekend, you'll go from complete novice to confidently sailing a Sunfish on your own.
Our instructors bring decades of combined sailing experience and a genuine passion for teaching. They'll guide you through every step—from rigging the boat to navigating a course—in one of the most beautiful settings on Lake Wylie.
With only 10 sailors per session and multiple instructors on the water, you'll receive the personalized attention you need to build real skills and confidence.

You'll Be Able To
Assemble and disassemble a sailboat
Sail in all directions – windward, downwind, and reaching
Right the sailboat after capsizing
Skipper the boat safely from the club beach/dock to a practice racecourse, through a triangle course, and return to the club beach/dock
